You can’t stand at
every register.
We read your Square data and compare every person on your staff to the rest of the floor. When somebody sits outside the range, you see it, with the arithmetic that put them there.
Read-only. No card. Sixty seconds to connect.

Why it is invisible
It never leaves as one big transaction. That is the whole problem.
The share of sales most often quoted for employee-side loss in hospitality.
What that is on a $50,000 month, leaving as five dollars here and twelve there.
Before anyone opens the reports, and only once they already suspect something.
How it works
Connect once. Nothing else to do.
Nothing to install, no hardware, and no change to how your staff rings up a sale.
Approve read-only access
On Square’s own permission screen. Sixty seconds, and you can revoke it from Square whenever you like.
We read the last 90 days
Normal is worked out from the middle of your own staff, not an industry average, so a busy Saturday does not make everyone look odd.
Your report, in a minute
Who sits inside the range, who sits outside it, and the figures behind every flag. Then re-read every night.
Plainly
What we see, and what we cannot.
We read
- Refunds: share of sales, count per 100, and refunds landing again on a card already refunded
- Comps and discounts: share of sales, and tickets closed at 100% off per 100 orders
- Cash drawers: expected against counted, on the shifts each person closed
- Timing: refunds and discounts landing outside your own opening hours
We cannot
- See item voids. Square’s API does not expose them to anyone, so nobody can. We would rather say it here than after you pay.
- Change anything. Not a payment, not a refund, not an order, not a staff record. We never asked for the permission.
- See full card numbers, or anything about your staff beyond what your till already records.
- Tell you someone is stealing. We do arithmetic and show you who sits outside the range. The decision is yours alone.
The difference
A totals report is not a comparison.
A total tells you what the floor did. It cannot tell you that one person on it is not doing what the others are.
| Measure | Square’s reports | Checking it yourself | EveryRegister |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you see | Totals by day, item and location | Whatever you had time to scroll | Each person against the rest of your floor |
| How often | When you open it | When you already suspect something | Re-read every night, all 90 days |
| Cash drawers | Per shift, not per person over time | Counted at close, forgotten by morning | Totalled per person across their shifts |
| Honest staff | Totals say nothing about individuals | Suspicion lands wherever it lands | A clean result is on the record, with numbers |

Why this exists
An owner we know found out from his accountant, eleven months in.
One of his bartenders had been refunding paid tickets to a card in his own pocket. Forty dollars at a time. Nobody noticed, because nobody had a reason to look at one person’s refunds next to everybody else’s. The totals looked fine every single month.
His point of sale had recorded every one of those transactions, with a name attached, the entire time.
EveryRegister does the one thing nobody has the hours to do by hand: compare every person with the rest of the floor, every week, and say plainly when somebody is sitting outside it.
Straight answers
“Is this actually legit?”
What exactly can it see in my Square account?
Does this tell me someone is stealing?
Will it flag my good people by mistake?
Can’t I just check my Square reports myself?
What do you store about my staff?
What happens if I stop?
Are you part of Square?
How do I cancel?
Who is behind it?

If everybody is inside the range, the report says so, and that is a result worth having.
